an educational visit experiencing Christian church youth work and the life in the USA
Churches and Dates:
- The Grace Lutheran Church from May 31, 2024, to June 27, 2025
- Our Savior’s Lutheran Church from July 5, 2025, to July 31, 2025
Eligibility:
- Students of Evanjelické gymnázium v Martine who are 16 in May 2025 and who attend either the second or third grades in the school year 2024/2025
Number of Students:
8 total: 4 in The Grace Lutheran Church; 4 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church
Responsibilities:
- The partner churches
- Room and board in families
- Air fare
- Experiencing and training in church youth work
- Trips
- Student’s Family
- Transportation between Martin and Vienna/Budapest/Krakow airport
- ESTA Application Fee ($21)
- Spending money ($150 – $300)
- Travel and health insurance (from 50€ to 120€)
- Student
- Final exams from all the school subjects before the departure to the USA
